As a member of our dynamic Flight Systems Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and support of essential aircraft systems, including but not limited to landing gear, fuel systems, electrical power generation, crew escape mechanisms, environmental control systems, flight controls, and propulsion integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the complete engineering lifecycle, from initial concept and requirements gathering to design, development, and ongoing support, ensuring compliance with the highest airworthiness standards.
  • Produce and distribute systems engineering documentation to fulfill project specifications while adhering to established quality, cost, and schedule parameters.
  • Collaborate with various engineering and project teams to devise innovative engineering solutions.
  • Conduct engineering tasks across different lifecycle phases, which may include requirements development, system and equipment design, modeling and analysis, system integration, qualification, certification, and testing.
  • Draft specifications, reports, and proposals to support project objectives.
  • Guide new systems development by implementing best practices in systems lifecycle management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Maths, or a related field.

Essential skills include:

  • Proven knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle and the ability to apply effective systems engineering practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in Mechanical, Propulsion, Electrical, Avionics, or Fluid Systems Engineering, preferably within the aerospace domain.
  • Strong research skills to analyze system design data and apply it to complex engineering challenges.

Eligibility for SC clearance is required, necessitating a British passport and a minimum of five years of residency and employment in the UK.
