Senior Systems Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineering Manager to lead our engineering integration efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for interfacing with customers, understanding their requirements, and ensuring their involvement throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the engineering integration team and work closely with other engineering leads to propose, develop, and deliver engineering products and solutions that meet expected standards and customer needs.
  2. Manage a team of engineers and senior stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the organization.
  3. Develop and implement engineering lifecycle processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective product development.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical issues and opportunities for improvement.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the organization.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience in the engineering lifecycle.
  • Proven experience in an engineering integration environment, with a strong understanding of model-based engineering approaches and supporting methods and toolsets.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate a diverse team of engineers and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Accreditation to the International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE) or equivalent body/institute is desirable but not essential.
