About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Children's Nurse to join our Paediatric Unit at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to children of all ages, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based care to children in our Paediatric Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance your clinical skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain up-to-date with best practices and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.
Requirements
  • Active registration with the UK NMC as a Registered Children's Nurse.
  • Experience working in a Paediatric setting, with a strong understanding of child development and paediatric care principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of our patients.
