Paediatric Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paediatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to children and young people, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care.
About the RoleAs a Paediatric Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for children of all ages, including those with complex needs. You will work closely with our team to deliver patient-centered care, ensuring that each child receives the best possible care and support.
You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including our paediatric assessment unit, high dependency unit, and outpatients department. You will also have access to ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care to children and young people, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for children of all ages, including those with complex needs.
- Work closely with our team to deliver patient-centered care, ensuring that each child receives the best possible care and support.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Active registration with the UK NMC as a Registered Children's Nurse or working towards a registration.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development through maintenance of a professional portfolio, registration revalidation, and commitment to lifelong learning.
- Experience of working in an acute clinical environment, with a willingness to develop knowledge and skills in paediatric care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
