We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paediatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to children and young people, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in paediatric nursing. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, working closely with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care to children and young people, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care.
- Work closely with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Develop and maintain a high level of clinical expertise in paediatric nursing, staying up-to-date with best practice and evidence-based guidelines.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with Trust values and standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
- Active registration with the UK NMC as a Registered Children's Nurse.
- Experience of working in an acute clinical environment, preferably in a paediatric setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, communicating effectively with families and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong clinical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practice and evidence-based guidelines.
