Sacco Mann is seeking a **Senior Catastrophic Injury Lawyer** (NQ to 5 PQE) to join a prominent catastrophic injury practice. This position is ideal for a legal professional with experience in handling catastrophic injury claims, particularly those valued between **£300k and £1million+**.
Our firm is a distinguished national legal entity with multiple offices throughout the UK. The team represents a diverse array of insurer clients in personal injury matters, often involving claims exceeding **£1million**. Due to a significant increase in workload, we are looking to expand our team by adding a Solicitor to assist a lead lawyer with a caseload that includes **brain injuries, spinal injuries, and amputations**.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of catastrophic injury claims, focusing on high-value cases.
- Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries, providing ongoing legal guidance.
- Evaluate liability evidence and identify potential gaps.
- Conduct witness interviews and prepare statements.
- Maintain communication with clients and third parties throughout the legal process.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings and applications.
- Engage counsel and participate in legal conferences.
- Prepare cases for trial proceedings.
- Negotiate settlements effectively.
Candidate Requirements:
- A qualified Solicitor with **1-5 years' PQE**, although newly qualified candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
- Exceptional technical skills, with a strong grasp of applicable case law and legal procedures.
- Excellent communication abilities and negotiation skills.
Competitive salary up to **£40,000**, commensurate with experience, with potential for increases for exceptional candidates.
