Join Our Team as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Proactive Appointments is seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to become a vital part of our dynamic team on a permanent, full-time basis.

In this role, you will collaborate with our talented team of engineers to design, implement, and maintain Azure-based environments, ensuring they deliver reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient hosting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and sustain DevOps methodologies for over 2 years
  • Utilize Docker for containerization on both Linux and Windows platforms
  • Manage container orchestration through Kubernetes
  • Facilitate continuous deployment processes
  • Work with microservices architecture
  • Establish centralized logging and health monitoring systems
  • Utilize Azure Pipelines for CI/CD
  • Manage Azure SQL databases and elastic pools
  • Oversee Azure SQL Managed Instances
  • Configure and maintain IIS
  • Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions
  • Work with CosmosDB
  • Utilize Azure Git or similar version control systems
  • Manage Azure Service Bus or alternative messaging solutions like RabbitMQ
  • Employ PowerShell for automation
  • Demonstrate experience with MS SQL
  • Utilize Nginx for web serving
  • Conduct Azure Load Testing
  • Implement Azure Application Insights for monitoring
  • Manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Engage in platform optimization activities

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Bicep
  • Familiarity with CloudFlare
  • Knowledge of ARM Templates
  • Experience with Octopus Deploy
  • Understanding of C# .NET
  • Experience with Prometheus/Grafana for monitoring
  • Familiarity with logging tools such as Seq or Loki
  • Experience with Virtual Machines (VMs)
