About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Princes Gardens Surgery. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health specialist care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of patients with a variety of mental health conditions, providing assessments, interventions, and education.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients.
  • Support the management team in reviewing clinical policy and procedure.
Person Specification
  • Hold a professional qualification in mental health nursing or equivalent occupational therapist qualification, with valid registration.
  • Have a clear understanding of child protection policy and procedures, and a commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
  • Experience of working in primary care and community settings, with a strong understanding of mental health problems and treatment options.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively, and identify and assess/manage risk when working with individuals.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £44,962 to £52,809 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including ongoing professional development opportunities.
