About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Family & Systemic Psychotherapist to join our dynamic and successful service in CYPS Community Team Northeast Hampshire.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in child and adolescent mental health, with a minimum of 1 year's post-graduate experience working in the field.

The role involves providing high-quality, specialist evidence-based systemic family therapy assessment and treatment to children and adolescents and their families and professional networks.

The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously within the Association Family Therapy (AFT), UKCP and Trust guidelines, and will have experience in the assessment and treatment of children and young people with mental health issues.

The successful applicant will be joining a reflective and supportive team, ensuring that the young people and families at the heart of what we do.

About the Team

CYPS Community Team Northeast Hampshire is a busy and successful service, working closely with other NHS and voluntary sector organisations to provide services and support people who use services and carers.

We actively seek to engage people who use our services and our communities in improving the mental wellbeing of the local population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely assessment of children and young people who are referred to CYPS Community Team Northeast Hampshire and provide care planning and support for their care and create individualised treatment plans.
  • Provide high-quality, specialist evidence-based systemic family therapy assessment and treatment to children and adolescents and their families and professional networks.
  • Work autonomously within the Association Family Therapy (AFT), UKCP and Trust guidelines.
  • Support audit and research activities and to propose and implement policy changes within the area served by the team.
