Job Title: School Aged Immunisation Service Nurse

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality immunisation services to school-aged children, primarily in community clinic settings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Administer vaccinations to 20-25 school children per hour during flu season
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service delivery and support organisational objectives

Key Accountabilities:
  • Promote and support the operation of our School Aged Immunisation Service
  • Deliver evidence-based and competent care to patients
  • Participate in clinical supervision and staff performance development
  • Ensure all clinical incidents and complaints are reported and processed in line with organisational policies
  • Attend clinical supervision with the Clinical Lead as directed
  • Contribute to team meetings and discussions
  • Undertake other duties commensurate with the level of this position
  • Comply with Company policies & procedures
Person Specification:
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule
  • Ability to implement informed consent principles
Qualifications:
  • Nurses and Midwives currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • Nursing and/or Midwifery Qualification
