Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team at Ford & Slater Limited in Sheffield. As a Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers, promoting and growing our parts business, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face-to-face, over the trade counter, and via telephone.
  • Promote and encourage growth of the parts business through effective sales and customer engagement.
  • Utilize all parts identification tools to ensure efficient and effective customer response.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records for all service exchange parts supplied/returned.
  • Efficiently replenish stocks in accordance with health and safety regulations, creating new locations as necessary.
  • Ensure warranty returns are checked and logged quickly and efficiently, with any mistakes/omissions addressed immediately to prevent risk of rejection.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Parts Advisor or similar role within the HGV, commercial vehicle, motor trade, or associated sector.
  • Or a passion for trucks and knowledge of truck/car parts.
  • Customer-focused, sales-driven individual with excellent communication skills.
  • PC literate.
  • Full UK driving license.

Working Hours: Tuesday to Friday night shift (actual hours TBC).
