Actuarial Risk Lead

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Risk Lead to join our team at Hanover. As a key member of our actuarial team, you will be responsible for leading risk management efforts and providing strategic guidance to our business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure the company's risk appetite is met
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
  • Provide actuarial expertise to support business decisions and risk management initiatives
  • Develop and maintain risk models and reports to support risk management objectives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Professional actuarial qualification (Fellow or Associate of the IFOA)
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders
  • Lloyds experience in a consulting or in-house actuarial role
