Continuous Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Continuous Improvement Lead to join our team at Valeo Foods UK. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract opportunity that will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and ensuring that our site operations are continuously improving in efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Support site improvement tracking and projects: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and validate improvement projects across the organization.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, and develop effective and sustainable solutions.
- Continuous Improvement Strategies: Support the deployment of the Valeo Improvement Programme (VIP) using Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Teamwork: Work with production, engineering, quality, and finance teams to gather insights and input for process improvement opportunities.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to make informed decisions regarding process improvements.
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to employees at all levels on Lean and continuous improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Change Management: Effectively communicate proposed changes and improvements to site teams, manage resistance to change, and ensure a smooth transition to new and improved processes.
- Proven experience in continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Good mechanical systems interpretation and understanding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can demonstrate facilitation and coaching skills.
- Management experience.
- FMCG background within Food Manufacturing.
