Continuous Improvement Lead

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Site Continuous Improvement Lead to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and ensuring our site operations are continuously improving in efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the deployment of the Valeo Improvement Programme (VIP) using Lean and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance overall manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, implement, and sustain continuous improvement initiatives that support our strategic objectives.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to make informed decisions regarding process improvements and effectively use data to shape thinking and prioritize problem-solving.
- Provide training and support to employees at all levels on Lean and continuous improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques, and foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting employee involvement and engagement.
- Effectively communicate proposed changes and improvements to site teams and manage resistance to change to ensure a smooth transition to new and improved processes.
- Proven experience in continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment, with Green/Yellow belt six sigma preferable.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Good mechanical systems interpretation and understanding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate facilitation and coaching skills.
- Management experience, with a background in FMCG within Food Manufacturing.
