About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CMG Lead Pharmacist RRCV to join our team at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. This is a unique opportunity to lead a well-established team of pharmacy professionals in delivering, developing, and managing the pharmacy service for RRCV (Renal, Respiratory, and Cardiovascular).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of pharmacy professionals to deliver high-quality, safe, and comprehensive pharmaceutical services.
  • Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to nursing and medical staff.
  • Integrate with clinical teams to ensure efficient transfer of clinical and medicines management issues.
  • Oversee training and development of staff, including undergraduate placements, trainee pharmacists, and diploma students.
  • Take responsibility for pharmacy research and audit projects within the service.
Requirements
  • MPharm postgraduate clinical qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Member of a professional organization, such as the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS), UK Clinical Pharmacy Association (UKCPA), or British Oncology Pharmacy Association (BOPA).
  • Experience of delivering education and training at postgraduate level.
  • Expert clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the area of practice.
  • Understanding of NHS funding streams and experience of financial monitoring and forecasting.
