Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities may include:

  • Overseeing our warehouse and transportation operations, including storage, compliance, and reporting on 3PL warehouse and logistics KPIs to drive efficiency and service improvements.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Supply Planning on warehousing and logistics P&Ls.
  • Managing day-to-day relationships with our 3PL partners, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our customers.
    • Establishing and managing third-party warehousing contracts, focusing on cost, quality, and service standards.
  • Ensuring optimal warehouse capacity and utilization to meet seasonal demands.
  • Reviewing KPIs, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing solutions for recurring challenges.
  • Ensuring compliance with export regulations.
  • Acting as the primary contact for all 3PL and internal functions, providing regular forecasts and updates on key operational activities.
  • Managing global and local logistics needs, covering warehouse to customer and vendor transportation.
    • Building and maintaining relationships with logistics partners.
    • Evaluating logistic service providers to ensure top-tier service at competitive costs.
    • Supervising the Logistics Coordinator to ensure all critical timelines are met and that the business has up-to-date information.
    • Ensuring compliance with international trade requirements.
    • Monitoring quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and overall efficiency.
  • Utilizing stakeholder management skills to collaborate across the supply chain and broader business, ensuring our network aligns with Trinny London's long-term objectives.
  • Working with the Head of Supply Planning to assess our current supply chain network, ensuring it meets current and future needs while suggesting optimizations as necessary:
    • Leading and managing logistics and 3PL partners, conducting negotiations,
    • Building strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers,
    • Modeling and managing changes to the supply chain network from concept to delivery.
  • Collaborating closely with the Product Innovation team to provide logistical insights on new product development, packaging innovations, or rebranding efforts, addressing any end-to-end supply queries.
  • Assisting the Head of Supply Planning in enhancing our fulfillment processes, implementing corrective actions, and monitoring evolving processes and technologies to maintain best-in-class standards.

Qualifications

The following skills will be beneficial in this role:

  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering is preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or transportation management.
  • Prior experience in managing and developing direct reports.
  • A strong team player with the ability to mentor and train junior team members.
  • Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement in processes and efficiencies.
