About the Company


Hays Accountancy & Finance is collaborating with a rapidly expanding and innovative manufacturing organization to find a proactive and results-oriented Finance Business Partner. This role is pivotal in assisting operational teams by delivering high-quality financial insights that enhance business performance.

Your Role


As a Finance Business Partner, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing strong relationships with Supply Chain, Operations, and Planning departments to collaboratively achieve financial objectives.
  • Preparing projections for Inventory and Indirect costs to facilitate the Forecasting and Budgeting processes.
  • Overseeing month-end activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Conducting variance analysis between Actuals, Prior Year, Budget, and Forecast, including root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
  • Supporting site leadership teams by encouraging critical decision-making and contributing to monthly business reporting.
  • Maintaining cost controls and identifying areas of risk to minimize exposure.
  • Participating actively in management meetings, evaluating make vs buy decisions, and engaging in ad-hoc analysis and projects.
  • Assisting the Head of Finance in driving process improvements.

Qualifications for Success


To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:

  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, showcasing independence and high personal integrity.
  • A commitment to personal development and strong communication skills to foster effective relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ideally with experience in financial modeling or scenario analysis.
  • The ability to influence and challenge decisions in a dynamic work environment.
  • Experience in inventory management and a background in the manufacturing sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
