About This Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Content Marketing Specialist to elevate our campaigns, collateral, and PR efforts for the Merchant Services business within Lloyds Banking Group.

Role Purpose:

As the Content Marketing Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to create demand-generation-focused content that establishes our brand association with payments acceptance, enhances demand generation, and elevates customer engagement.

You'll collaborate closely with marketing managers, product teams, PR, social media, and brand marketing teams to deliver a well-curated content mix across various channels and tactics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, research, and deliver a content strategy that aligns with major product launches and acquisition marketing initiatives.
  • Execute content activities that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Craft intentional copy for our target audience, spanning both Enterprise and small to medium businesses.
  • Understand how to write for a diverse B2B audience, including decision-makers, influencers, and recommenders.
  • Report on content performance and provide insights for future content development.

What You'll Need

  • Solid content writing experience (2-3 years equivalent).
  • Relevant experience in B2B marketing with experience in payments and fintech an added advantage.
  • Expertise in copy writing with an understanding of writing for various channels.
  • Content writing skills with proficiency in English.
  • Proven expertise in writing for digital is needed. SEO knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to quickly understand and learn complex subjects.
  • Ability to work with a matrix reporting structure across a global organisation.
  • You can thrive in a high pressure environment, are solution driven and are outcome driven.
  • Willingness to learn, grow and pull up your sleeves to get the job done.
