About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Trauma and Orthopaedics team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a specialized occupational therapy service within a busy and challenging clinical environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist assessment, consultancy, and intervention for patients' occupational needs within the inpatient setting.
  • Manage a caseload of patients with complex health and social care needs, utilizing evidence-based practice and client-centered principles to deliver effective interventions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of qualified occupational therapists, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Develop and implement service improvements, identifying areas for growth and innovation within the department.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.
  • Promote continuous professional development through journal clubs, in-service training, and peer support.
