In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Manager to guarantee a consistent supply of goods, materials, and services to fulfill customer requirements.
This permanent position presents an exciting opportunity to take a pivotal role in strategic planning and procurement operations, all within a nurturing and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Relations:
Identify and engage with high-quality, competitive suppliers to boost business performance.
Cost Management:
Concentrate on cost-saving initiatives while ensuring quality and supply efficiency.
Daily Procurement Operations:
Oversee the daily ordering of materials and coordinate timely deliveries in alignment with supply chain needs.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all procurement processes comply with best practices and corporate ethics.
Supply Chain Crisis Management:
Collaborate with production teams to tackle critical supply shortages and escalate risks and non-conformities in real-time.
Data Insights:
Analyze data to identify trends and areas for performance enhancement, providing insights for the annual planning and budgeting process.
Operational Improvement:
Formulate strategies to enhance operational efficiencies, add value, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
Educational Qualifications:
Minimum A-level education; CIPS certification is a plus.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience in related sectors is highly desirable.
Forecasting Skills:
Proficient in managing and monitoring forecasts.
Technical Skills:
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to our MRP system; proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Continuous Improvement Knowledge:
Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
Communication Proficiency:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.
Analytical Abilities:
Strong problem-solving skills, organized, and numerically adept.
Adaptability:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
