We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team in London. As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in providing high-quality childcare and education to children aged 0 to 5 years.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Learning, and Development or equivalent, and previous experience working as a Deputy Nursery Manager or within a Nursery setting. You will be responsible for innovating and raising standards, as well as providing a safe and healthy environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 Childcare, Learning, and Development or equivalent.
  • Have previous experience working as a Deputy Nursery Manager or within a Nursery setting as acting Deputy.
  • Have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
  • Have a passion for working with children.
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment following safeguarding procedures.
  • Innovative and resourceful teaching methods.
  • Be able to offer support to the manager and colleagues.

Essential Requirements:
  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Early Years, Childcare, Supporting Teaching & Learning, or Social.
  • A minimum of 3 months of experience working as a Deputy Nursery Manager or within a Nursery setting.
  • A positive approach to child development, managing behavior, and being passionate about your subject is evident in your teaching.
