Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of BRC and customer audits, conducting compliance investigations, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation is accurately maintained and accessible.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and provide proactive support to the QA Manager on various compliance initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience and qualifications in a compliance or quality assurance role, ideally within the food industry.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to assess and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and regulatory agencies.
- Proficiency in compliance management software and tools.
- Knowledge of BRC Global Standard, HACCP principles, and food safety/hygiene regulations.
- Familiarity with food industry legislation and the ability to apply this knowledge to maintain compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in internal and external auditing, as well as risk assessment.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to identifying and addressing compliance issues.
