Children's Social Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Social Worker to join our Child Protection and Safeguarding Team in the London Borough of Havering.
About the Role:This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
As a Social Worker in our team, you will be responsible for assessing and managing cases of children in need, child protection, and domestic abuse.
You will work closely with other professionals, including police, health, and education services, to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and manage cases of children in need, child protection, and domestic abuse
- Develop and implement effective plans to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children and families
- Provide support and guidance to families and carers to help them meet the needs of children
To be considered for this role, you must have a recognised social work qualification, full Social Work England registration, and relevant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
You must also have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
What We Offer:We offer a competitive rate of £37 per hour, with the opportunity to earn a higher rate dependent on experience.
We also offer a hybrid working arrangement, with the option to work from home and in our office base in the London Borough of Havering.
