We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our sales team at Clinisupplies. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of projects that drive the sale of our products, specifically Aquaflush, into the competitive primary and secondary care market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering Sales Results: You will be responsible for delivering and exceeding agreed sales targets for Aquaflush, working closely with our clinical team to establish product usage across the region.
- Building Relationships: You will represent the company at regional consumer events to develop relationships with key healthcare professionals in the areas of Bowel and Continence care.
- Supporting Partnerships: You will support partnering Trusts with the provision, promotion, and implementation of pathways for patients to access our services through our Care+/Nightingale+ programs within Nightingale Delivery service.
- Business Planning: You will have excellent standards in territory/journey and business preparation and planning, learning and understanding the selling process, and developing a thorough understanding of both secondary and primary care within the NHS.
- Formulary Process: You will develop a thorough understanding of the formulary process and ability to influence for positive positioning of Clinisupplies products.
- NHS Understanding: You will develop an ability to function across all levels of the NHS, as well as within a sales culture team environment.
- Training and Support: You will provide effective weekly updates of company IT requirements, CRM, Calendar, and Monthly reports to the National Sales Manager, and assist colleagues when needed with training, formulary, or discharge policy rollout.
- Customer Relationships: You will build excellent customer relationships and sell the product and service to NHS and private healthcare customers.
Requirements:
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for this role.
- Dynamic and Driven: You must be dynamic and driven, with a desire to work in a target-driven environment.
- Confidence and Articulation: You must be confident, articulate, and a strong relationship builder.
- Self-Motivation and Tenacity: You must be highly self-motivated and tenacious, with the ability to deliver sales results in a competitive environment.
- Organizational Skills: You must be well-organized and able to plan weekly and monthly diary.
- Teamwork: You must be able to operate independently, as well as work within a team.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Clinical Background: A clinical background would be beneficial for this role.
- Customer Relations Experience: Experience in customer relations or front-of-house sales would be advantageous.
- Market Knowledge: Knowledge of the Anal Irrigation/Continence market and competition would be desirable.
- Medical Device Sales Experience: Experience in a medical device sales role with a successful track record would be highly beneficial.
- Commercial Acumen: Commercial/business acumen would be an advantage.
