Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic / Mechanical Inspector to join our team at AMETEK MRO. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for disassembling hydraulic and mechanical components, conducting inspections, and ensuring quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Disassemble hydraulic and mechanical components to their sub-components
  • Conduct inspections, including interpreting technical data, fault diagnosis, and identifying component wear or damage
  • Use precise calibrated measuring equipment and populate computer-generated documentation
  • Assemble hydraulic and mechanical assemblies, components ready for final testing and inspection
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained in accordance with CAA, EASA, FAA, and company procedures
  • Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Requirements

  • Background in mechanical or hydraulic engineering
  • Numerate and literate – minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
  • Strong analytical, administrative, and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Well-organized and self-motivated
