Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic/Mechanical Inspector to join our team at AMETEK MRO. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing hydraulic and mechanical components to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble hydraulic and mechanical components to their sub-components
- Conduct inspections, including fault diagnosis, wear and tear analysis, and corrosion detection
- Use calibrated measuring equipment to ensure accuracy
- Populate and complete computer-generated documentation
- Assemble hydraulic and mechanical components for final testing and inspection
- Ensure quality standards are maintained in accordance with CAA, EASA, FAA, and company procedures
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Requirements
- Background in mechanical or hydraulic engineering
- Numerate and literate with a minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Strong analytical, administrative, and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Well-organized and self-motivated
