Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic / Mechanical Inspector to join our team at AMETEK MRO.
The successful candidate will be responsible for disassembling hydraulic and mechanical components, conducting inspections, and ensuring quality standards are maintained in accordance with CAA, EASA, FAA, and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble hydraulic and mechanical components to their sub-components
- Conduct inspections, including interpreting technical data, fault diagnosis, and identifying component wear, damage, or corrosion
- Use precise calibrated measuring equipment and populate computer-generated documentation
- Assemble hydraulic and mechanical assemblies, components ready for final testing and inspection
- Ensure quality standards are maintained and comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Requirements
- Background in mechanical or hydraulic engineering
- Numerate and literate – minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
- Strong analytical, administrative, and organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Strong communicator (written and verbal)
- Well-organized and self-motivated
