Greater Manchester Mental Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Your expertise and compassion will be instrumental in supporting their recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional nursing care to patients within a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring they align with patient needs and goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic and person-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Advocate for patients' rights and well-being, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
Essential Criteria:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  • Proven ability to provide effective clinical care in a mental health setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and well-being.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Post-registration clinical qualification in Mental Health (e.g., Acute Care).
  • Professional development in Clinical Leadership.
  • Experience of managing staff and other professionals.
