We are looking for a proficient Warehouse Inventory Specialist with a background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee the storage, organization, distribution, and documentation of materials, ensuring efficient inventory management.

Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with 9.5 hours paid daily, excluding breaks.

Compensation: £18.00 per hour, available through CIS or Umbrella.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Oversight: Regularly assess and maintain stock levels of MEP materials and components.
  • Inventory Documentation: Accurately log incoming and outgoing inventory items in the management system.
  • Supply Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies to ensure consistent availability.

Receiving and Quality Control:

  • Shipment Reception: Accept incoming deliveries of MEP materials and equipment.
  • Quality Assessment: Evaluate the quality and quantity of received items against purchase orders.
  • Discrepancy Reporting: Document any issues with received goods and liaise with suppliers for resolution.

Storage and Organization:

  • Material Organization: Efficiently store and arrange MEP materials and equipment in designated areas.

Distribution and Fulfillment:

  • Order Processing: Prepare and pack MEP materials and tools for distribution to various job sites.

Record Maintenance:

  • Transaction Documentation: Keep precise records of all inventory transactions, including receipts and transfers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Acumen: Knowledge of MEP materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Detail Orientation: Precision in tracking and documenting inventory levels.
  • Organizational Proficiency: Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift and transport heavy materials.
  • Computer Skills: Familiarity with inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
