Salary: £26,557.66 pa

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - Days

As a Logistics Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the warehouse, coordinating inbound and outbound schedules, and collaborating with warehouse staff, Shift Supervisors, and Shift Managers to facilitate a seamless workflow throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Effectively managing the outbound schedule to meet collection and delivery timelines. Providing clear instructions to staff to ensure a smooth operation of inbound and outbound processes. Overseeing documentation for outbound vehicles to guarantee 100% accuracy. Acting as the primary contact for drivers arriving at the facility. Promptly communicating any issues to the Shift Manager to minimize disruptions. Actively participating in the operations team and contributing ideas for problem-solving and efficiency improvements. Maintaining effective communication with transport providers to prevent late collections and delivery failures. Preparing a comprehensive handover for the next shift, highlighting potential issues and the current operational status.

Required Qualifications:

Strong ability to prioritize tasks based on scheduling and resource availability. High attention to detail is essential. Must be a collaborative team player with the ability to work independently. In-depth knowledge of on-site systems is required. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Experience with Autostore and RF equipment is advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Demonstrated ambition and desire for career progression. Flexibility in work approach and shift patterns is necessary to cover for absences. Professional demeanor towards customers and third-party hauliers is expected. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
