Working closely with council and NHS intelligence functions, you will provide timely analysis, evaluation, and intelligence to support collective planning and delivery. Your expertise in public health statistical techniques and procedures will be essential in accessing, appraising, and manipulating complex datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of public health and population health management approaches
- Support the analysis, evaluation, and intelligence functions
- Work with council and NHS intelligence functions to provide timely analysis and support
- Utilize multiple sources of information to provide specialist population health data analysis and interpretation
- Develop and maintain knowledge of public health intelligence and analysis
Requirements:
- Specialist knowledge and experience of public health statistical techniques and procedures
- Postgraduate qualification in a numerate or data/computer science subject, or public health
- Knowledge of population health data sources and their limitations
- Practical experience of accessing, appraising, and manipulating complex datasets
- Excellent analytical skills and experience of utilizing multiple sources of information
