About the Role

As a skilled Automotive Technician or Vehicle Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in conducting thorough vehicle inspections and MOT tests, ensuring that every vehicle meets safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and MOT tests in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Inspecting vehicles for any defects or issues that may affect their safety or compliance
  • Identifying and reporting any necessary repairs or maintenance needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition
  • Maintaining accurate records of all tests and inspections conducted
  • Providing excellent customer service by explaining test results and addressing any questions or concerns

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Technician, Vehicle Inspector, or in a similar role
  • Solid mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
  • Background in heavy lifting and the ability to use power and hand tools effectively
  • Valid UK driving licence is essential
