Job Summary:

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Parking Services team as the Head of Parking. This is a key role that requires a strong leader to manage daily operations, lead transformation efforts, meet financial goals, and stabilize services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Parking Services team to deliver high-quality services to residents and visitors, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve parking services, including enforcement, permit issuance, and revenue collection.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including residents, businesses, and other Council departments.
  • Recruit, train, and lead staff dispersed across different locations, fostering a skilled and adaptable workforce.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.

Requirements:
