We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Parking Services team. As the Head of Parking, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, leading transformation efforts, and meeting financial goals. You will also oversee the continuous improvement of parking services through strategic planning, effective resource management, and technology utilisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver various parking services such as enforcement, permit issuance, and revenue collection while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Recruit, train, and lead staff dispersed across different locations, fostering a skilled and adaptable workforce.
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of the environmental and regeneration issues facing the borough and the ability to interpret, model, and articulate a strong strategic vision for service quality and continuous improvement.
  • Understand complex policy issues and present them to a range of stakeholders, with excellent communication skills – written, presentational, and in negotiations.
  • Bring strong leadership skills, with the ability to both lead and support while maintaining high levels of accountability throughout the organisation.
