MBA, a leader in the industry, is seeking a skilled Account Manager to enhance their dynamic team. This position allows for remote work and offers an attractive on-target earnings (OTE) potential of up to £64,500, along with a £6,000 vehicle allowance.
Role Responsibilities
- The primary focus of the Account Manager is to cultivate profitable business from a diverse range of accounts within the fleet, leasing, and rental sectors. The individual will be responsible for managing their own schedule and activities, reporting to the Senior Sales Manager as necessary.
- As an Account Manager, you will oversee and nurture a portfolio of accounts across various sectors, ensuring the smooth operation of these accounts on a daily basis.
- The Account Manager serves as a representative of MBA, expected to uphold the company’s values and brand with professionalism and integrity.
- You will handle any required tenders, guiding them from initial research through to documentation completion and final negotiations.
- Monitoring your activities through various reports on a daily, monthly, and annual basis is essential.
- Providing coverage for national clients across multiple sites, the Account Manager will establish a presence in customer depots, linking local branches with customer locations.
- Account planning and development are crucial, with the expectation to create an annual strategy that enhances the account, strengthens relationships, and maximizes the benefits of the partnership.
- Development initiatives may include implementing VRN, EDI, and Delegated Authority, as well as marketing strategies to foster a collaborative approach between MBA and its clients.
- Monthly management information (MI) must be delivered within agreed timelines, ensuring that the data is relevant and tailored to the specific client.
- Building internal relationships with various departments such as Operations, Customer Accounts, and Finance is key to ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Regular reviews with clients are necessary to confirm their needs are met and the account is functioning effectively, ensuring sufficient multi-level contacts for a stable, long-term relationship.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in account management within the fleet, leasing, or rental sectors is essential.
- Ability to work independently while driving performance and fostering effective cross-functional relationships.
- Experience in strategic planning and aligning annual objectives with overall company goals.
- Strong stakeholder management skills are required.
- A collaborative team player with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000.
