Job Description

Ardmore Group is a leading construction company that has been delivering high-profile projects across London. We have established a strong reputation for delivering large-scale regeneration schemes, including iconic projects such as the Corinthia Hotel, Churchills Old War Office, and the Greenwich Peninsula.

We specialize in building homes, offices, hotels, schools, medical centers, parks, and playgrounds, providing essential facilities for our great city. Our team is passionate about delivering projects with sensitivity, style, and attention to detail.

Recently, we have secured several major projects across London, including grade-listed, high-end residential, and commercial mixed-use projects with values exceeding £ million. As a Facade Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing facade-related activities, from coordinating design and procurement strategies to successful onsite delivery of facade systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for the facade contractor, overseeing design and scope gaps, operational, and commercial aspects.
  • Drive all facade-related procurement and ensure it fits with program milestones.
  • Chair regular facade package meetings for effective communication.
  • Collaborate extensively with various internal and external teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Implement comprehensive QA procedures for the entire facade package, following Fieldview protocols.
  • Manage quality checks, address snagging works, and obtain client sign-off.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HS&E legislation and Health and Safety plans.
  • Uphold high levels of safety standards throughout the project.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of different facade systems, including Rainscreen, Stick and Stone/Brick for new builds.
  • Experience working with a main/sub contractor with full 360 lifecycle experience from procurement, managing consultants, and through to managing delivery of facade packages.
  • Familiarity with JCT contracts, knowledge of MS Projects or ASTA.
  • Proficiency in 4 Projects, Fieldview, and drawing interpretation.
  • NVQ Level 6 in Site Management or equivalent.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • CSCS black card (management).
