Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Finance Officer specializing in Management Accounts to contribute to our financial operations. This role involves ensuring the completion of monthly financial processes and the provision of precise management accounts information.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Finance Partner and Assistant Accountant in various financial tasks.
  • Contributing to the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Reviewing, calculating, and posting accruals and adjustment journals.
  • Generating reports and offering insights for budget holders, including variance analysis.
  • Implementing internal controls, identifying discrepancies, and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Supporting the annual budget preparation and quarterly/monthly forecasting processes.

Candidate Profile
We value customer service and attention to detail in our organization. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Experience in calculating and posting accruals and adjustment journals.
  • Proficiency in producing financial reports for budget holders.
  • Familiarity with month-end financial processes.
  • A good grasp of internal financial controls.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Qualifications Required
Applicants should hold an AAT qualification or be part-qualified in CCAB.
