Job Summary

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Clerk/Credit Control Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the accounts department, you will be responsible for managing the Sales Ledger function, ensuring a smooth and efficient process is maintained daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manually create and send invoices to customers
  • Assist business customers with invoice-related queries, providing professional and speedy resolutions
  • Reconcile statements and obtain Purchase Order numbers from customers
  • Provide support to the existing Credit Controller as needed
  • Offer general finance and office support to the team

Requirements

  • Preferred experience in Sales Ledger/Billing/Credit Control or a finance function with interest in Sales Ledger and Credit Control
  • Proficient in MS Office packages, including Excel
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude
  • Ability to work in an office environment full-time
