About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Brainkind Neurological Care Centre Lancashire. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimum cognitive, social, emotional, physical and functional recovery of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to implement rehabilitation goals, strategies and procedures.
  • Monitor the physical and emotional well-being of clients and alert senior colleagues as necessary.
  • Assist in maintaining morale of clients through communication and contact.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Review and suggest enhancements to the individuals' experience.
  • Promote choice in the delivery of care and support.
  • Support service users to have their views and experiences taken into account in the way the service is provided and delivered.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of working within a team.
  • Care delivery experience.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Numeracy and literacy skills.
  • IT skills including accessing and using the internet, email and word.
