Job Title: Healthcare Assistants

About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Preston and the surrounding areas. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users with long-term, life-limiting conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to service users in their own homes
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication administration
  • Supporting service users with complex care needs, including spinal injury care, acquired brain injury care, and tracheostomy care
  • Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns to the team

Requirements:

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal care and moving and handling skills
  • Medication administration training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
