Senior Data Analyst

Phoenix Group, a leading UK long-term savings and retirement business, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Annuities team. This role will support the BPA and Reinsurance teams, working closely with Data Analysts, Transition Managers, and Reinsurance team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze scheme benefit specifications and complex pension datasets to identify system development needs.
  • Support the BPA implementation process, ensuring data and payroll reconciliation results are accurate.
  • Validate scheme data through implementation to buyout, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist the Transition Manager in Trustee and Scheme Administrator meetings by discussing data issues.
  • Review and check management information to support BPA and Reinsurance performance oversight.

Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage with various stakeholders
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Experience with large pension datasets
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of Bulk Annuities and Defined Benefit pensions
  • Experience with Defined Benefit pension data
  • Experience with reinsurance data
