Golf Operations

The Belfry's esteemed Golf team is dedicated to providing outstanding experiences across our three courses: The Brabazon, The PGA, and The Derby. As a four-time Ryder Cup host, we are committed to excellence in all aspects of our golf operations. Our Golf Shop, the largest in the UK, offers premium apparel and equipment, while our Golf Academy provides skill enhancement opportunities through advanced technology and expert instruction.

Salary Overview

The anticipated earnings for this position include a competitive annual salary, supplemented by additional gratuities, ensuring a comprehensive compensation package.

Role Overview

This full-time position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, across 5 days. Due to the nature of our operations, weekend and holiday shifts are essential.

As the Golf Retail Team Leader, you will oversee the golf retail operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for all customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading by example to create a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining high standards of service.
  • Collaborating with the inventory controller to manage stock operations effectively.
  • Addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly, while keeping the management team informed.
  • Conducting regular team briefings to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Supporting the head professional with retail initiatives at the academy.
  • Enhancing corporate merchandise offerings in partnership with the golf sales team.
