Position Overview

The Centre for Innovation is dedicated to supporting a variety of undergraduate Integrated Masters' programmes, alongside an expanding postgraduate offering and several service units.

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable full-time Senior Centre Administrator to play a crucial role in facilitating the efficient functioning of the Centre for Innovation.

This position presents an engaging and demanding opportunity for a versatile individual equipped with exceptional administrative and technological capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the timely management and execution of essential Centre activities.
  • Utilize a suite of Office 365 applications to deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to Centre team members, including the establishment and upkeep of effective administrative systems.
  • Support the Centre Manager in fulfilling operational obligations related to health and safety, procurement, facility maintenance, marketing, and financial operations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate various events such as Offer days, Open days, graduation ceremonies, and other Centre-related activities.
  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of Centre-wide information and communication platforms, including SharePoint sites and websites, while actively enhancing existing processes within the Centre.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in an administrative capacity and demonstrate strong decision-making skills. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, managing substantial data volumes while ensuring high accuracy.

With a background in organizing and supporting events or projects, you will exhibit flexibility, resilience, and a positive attitude, thriving in independent problem-solving scenarios.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will be working in a dynamic environment that frequently requires you to adapt to new tasks to address the evolving operational demands of the Centre.

Your advanced organizational skills and comprehensive digital literacy will enable you to provide high-quality service to Centre members, and you will be confident in your ability to engage with colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds and varying levels of seniority.
