Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for recruitment processes for staff and students in the Centre.
- Assist in the planning and organisation of all centre activities.
- Organising travel and accommodation for overseas conferences as necessary.
- Organising meetings and training programmes as relevant as well as room bookings.
- Raising Purchase Orders and Purchase Card reconciliation.
- Responsible for and coordinating various tasks in the Centre, including staff induction, probation, appraisals, staff access cards for the Centre, record of academic visitors, insurance cover for staff overseas trips.
- Other adhoc general administrative tasks, such as maintaining the office, collecting and distributing posts.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the higher education sector.
- Experience as a Personal Assistant, as well as experience in either or both HR or Finance as a minimum.
- Experience of diary and agenda management, and time-management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a keen attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Experience managing and prioritising a varied workload, working well under pressure and a flexible attitude to work.
- Able to travel on-site 5 days a week.
