Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustaining Hardware Engineer to join our team. As a Sustaining Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our existing products, ensuring their continued relevance and competitiveness in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Re-design legacy products to extend their lifecycle, incorporating the latest components and technologies.
  • Develop and implement solutions to address component obsolescence, ensuring product continuity and minimizing disruptions to our customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product development opportunities, aligning with our company's strategic objectives.
  • Conduct design reviews, ensuring that all products meet our quality and reliability standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • MEng/MSc/BEng in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electronic engineering, with a focus on high-speed digital circuit design.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with PC motherboard architecture, including microprocessors, PCI Express, Ethernet, and DDR4 Memory.
  • Programmable logic devices or FPGA experience.
  • Embedded software appreciation.
  • Experience with Intel or ARM chipsets.
