Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team at VIQU Limited. As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing hardware systems using various hardware components, with a focus on MCCs, PLCs, Switchgear, and Drives & Controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical panels containing PLCs and LV distribution systems.
  • Design containment systems and electrical cabling.
  • Work with production to see designs through to completion.
  • Mentor junior engineers and oversee and quality check drawings.
  • Develop technical solutions to meet customer and project expectations.

Requirements:

  • Must be a British citizen.
  • Strong understanding of designing electrical panels containing PLCs and LV distribution systems.
  • Proven experience of AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft office products.
  • Ability to develop technical solutions to meet customer and project expectations.
