About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect to lead our technical architecture team. As a key member of our RSC team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the technical strategy for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical architecture team and provide technical direction and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain the technical architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement complex technology solutions, including cloud-based systems, microservices, and distributed architectures.
  • Ensure the development of high-quality, scalable, and reliable technology solutions that meet industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation guides.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the successful implementation of technical solutions.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience as a Technical Architect or Engineering lead within the technology space.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and leading a team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Experience with cloud computing, SaaS, and PaaS technologies.
  • Good technical skills, including DevOps tools, principles, and technologies, especially within AWS, and with knowledge around Serverless.
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex technology solutions, such as cloud-based systems, microservices, or distributed architectures.
  • Experience of defining and building architectural patterns, including microservice architectures, API development, streaming architectures, etc.
  • Software engineering experience across the stack, including familiarity with both modern front-end frameworks and backend technologies.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
