About the Role:

We are seeking a Casual Support Worker to join our team at Westminster House in Newport. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to adults with learning disabilities and complex care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enable and support individuals with all kinds of activities, including trips to the park, community events, arts and crafts, and activities on site.
  • Provide personal care when needed, including toileting, dressing, and feeding, while supporting individuals to be as independent as possible.
  • Assist with on-site domestic duties, such as cooking and cleaning.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a positive and engaging experience for service users.

  • Great emotional connection with a diverse range of people.
  • Ability to tailor work to suit each individual's needs and interests.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to provide a high-quality service.
