We are seeking a Back of House Shift Leader to join our team at German Doner Kebab, a leading restaurant brand with a commitment to excellence. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and effectively, delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food quality and guest service
  • Ensure that kitchen operations are efficient and effective, meeting brand standards
  • Monitor food levels, maintain portion control, and ensure proper food handling and safety standards
  • Train and develop team members to improve skills and knowledge
  • Manage stock levels, controllable costs, and payroll to maintain profitability
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Management team to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of food safety and health and hygiene standards
  • Understanding of stock management and Gp% figures and controls
