About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planner to join our Fit Out & Interiors team at Wates Group. As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in providing an effective and professional planning and programming service for pre-contract and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instigate and monitor a balanced suite of performance measurement criteria throughout a project's lifecycle.
  • Ensure proper integration of design and procurement elements of programmes with operations.
  • Produce integrated tender programme and method statement and present proposals to settlement meeting.
  • Change management: review programme effect of changes and advise on EOT issues.
  • Produce schedules as well as obtain and analyse quotes for all time-related preliminaries.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will already have experience of working as a Planner within a similar business and have a knowledge of commonly used forms of construction contracts as well as an awareness of a variety of performance measurement techniques, such as Critical Path Analysis, Earned Value Analysis, and use of Key Performance Indicators. We use Asta Power Project, so a working knowledge would be helpful.

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • An eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Organised and able to self-manage workload, time, and priorities to achieve outputs required.
  • Membership of CIOB would be desirable.
